Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Kimba Lodge in Barcaldine was a delightful retreat after a dusty adventure out in the bush. The motel's strategic location allowed me easy access to local amenities, and I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary gem nestled next door - the renowned White Lion Hotel.Deciding to dine at the White Lion was a culinary adventure in itself. From the first bite of the prime Black Angus steak to the fresh locally caught Queensland seafood, every dish was a testament to the chef's dedication to quality meals. The bar/lounge ambiance added a touch of sophistication to my dining experience, complementing the flavors perfectly.Reflecting on my stay, the warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and the tantalizing culinary offerings at Kimba Lodge and the neighboring eateries truly made my visit memorable. If you find yourself exploring the Fraser Coast, I highly recommend indulging in a culinary journey at the White Lion Hotel.
